We do not have a green cleaning policy. However, the ITM conducts the following activities:
• Employee training for gardening staff in the handling of chemicals and disposal of hazardous solid waste.
• We use the organic fertilizer generated from the institution’s organic waste, thus reducing the amount of agrochemicals purchased.
• The institution has sustainable purchasing policies for purchasing cleaning and gardening supplies that have a lower environmental impact.

A brief description of the energy management or benchmarking program:
We have a program for the rational use of energy in order to study our demand, uses, and consumption habits. Also, we monitor our consumption of electrical energy. Based on this information, we implement strategies to use electricity efficiently.

A brief description of the water management or benchmarking program:
We have a program for the rational use of water whose objective is to provide a general diagnosis of the water consumption of three ITM campuses: Robledo, Fraternidad and Floresta. With information obtained from the utility bills and the number of students and employees, we calculate the water consumption per person. Likewise, with the information obtained, we design water saving mechanisms, communication campaigns and environmental education.
