The ITM has a Sustainable Mobility Plan whose objective is to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases and polluting materials, thus contributing to the improvement of the air quality in the city. This plan encourages sustainable mobility.

The Greenhouse Gas Measurement and Reporting protocol developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the World Resources Institute (WRI) was used to complete the air emissions inventory.
