A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
Every year, the Human Resources Department compiles all indicators related to the health and well-being of its staff. These indicators include absenteeism rates, personnel retention and turnover rates, participation in and reasons for consultations with the Employee and Student Assistance Program, disability diagnosis rates and categories, CSST contributions, and the number of complaints related to harassment, discrimination, incivility, and sexual violence. Data from the latest 2021 mobilization survey regarding health and well-being are also included in this analysis, helping identify well-being issues affecting personnel. A calendar of health and well-being activities and actions is then developed by the Human Resources Department in collaboration with the INRS psychologist, social worker, health and safety manager, and equity, diversity, and inclusion manager. These actions encompass an anti-harassment awareness week, participation in the Business Challenge, conferences on nutrition, stress management, mental health, sleep, and the implementation of a workstation ergonomics capsule, among others.
This calendar is posted on the personnel's intranet page, which can be found at http://moninrs.ca/calendrier-des-evenements-sante-et-mieux-etre/.
In addition to this, INRS conducts numerous campaigns to support psychological well-being, learning, and inclusion, along with awareness programs related to mental health, cultural diversity, and orthopedagogy for students with disabilities.
In 2023, the first "active room" was inaugurated in our Quebec City building. This Zoom room allows you to hold meetings while cycling or sitting on an exercise ball.
