Diversity inclusion and women support

INRS has many inspirational initiatives that spotlight our engagement toward women empowering and diversity inclusion.
- INRS provides free menstrual products on all campuses (list publicly available here: https://inrs.ca/linrs/equite-diversite-et-inclusion/).
- INRS organizes networking events for women in science at the Quebec city site to promote academic careers or research for women and build a network of female scientists.
- A student initiative aims to organize multicultural dinners to explore global cuisine represented by the student community.
- INRS was one of the first universities to adopt an inclusive communication guide in 2021.
- Every year, INRS conducts an awareness campaign within its community to improve recognition and inclusion of individuals from groups vulnerable to discrimination. The focus of awareness activities changes from year to year (LGBTQ2+; ethno-cultural diversity).
