BIOL-L303 Field Biology (3 credits): Malaysia (Borneo) each spring semester
April 23–May 5, 2022
This spring semester course, has a study abroad component (location varies every year), is designed to acquaint students with natural biological interactions in the environment. This year (spring 2022), the field study will take students to Malaysia (Borneo); they will look for wildlife and participate in a citizen science project. This course is open to all students, both natural science majors (it fulfills the Ecology requirement for biology majors) and non-majors alike (Prerequisite: one semester of biology).

Summer I Session (May 2023) Explore south-central Sweden and Stockholm
May 12-23, 2023.
Your objective is to seek a broader understanding and appreciation of how differently healthcare and social services are performed in Sweden. This undergraduate or graduate class will allow you to attend morning lectures at the Institute for Gerontology at the University of Jӧnkӧping, followed by site visits to state-of-the-art care facilities in Sweden. The course will emphasize the health and care of older adults but will also cover care facilities and policies related to early childhood and parental leave.

P454 Field Experience in International Psychology
Summer I Session (June 2020) Students will travel June 2–23, 2020
Through Central and Southern France, as well as Paris. The goal is to develop cultural awareness while learning about the history, art, culture, gastronomy, geography, business, and traditions of France. No pre-req or linguistic proficiency is necessary. Open to all majors. Students who register for P454 receive 4 credits in upper level (International psych.) course. 8–14 students will be accepted.
