Climate Resolution

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
A Climate Resolution was passed by the Faculty Senate on March, 27, 2020, in an effort to raise a collective faculty voice of concern for action by the campus and the university to address climate change related challenges. It is anticipated that this resolution will serve to ensure climate action as central to the next campus strategic plan and add to a collective voice from all IU campuses to ensure university wide action is taken in response. It addresses innovation credit criteria as a new, unique, groundbreaking, and uncommon outcome of Faculty Senate work. It lays the groundwork for policy that address sustainability challenges by campus and the international community.
