All of the LEED buildings on campus have interior signage to educate general public about their green building features. Additionally, all campus water bottle refill stations feature digital counters, which communicate the number of plastic water bottles diverted from waste.

IUPUI Food Services has signage in the main dining hall that highlights sustainable dining practices and food options.

Healthy IU places signage in campus building elevators to promote personal health promotions, incentives and campaigns.

Digital Signage is available for Registered student organizations and university departments to submit their advertisements for events, services, classes, and more. The Digital signage screens are located in various locations across campus.

Democracy Plaza is a series of physical spaces located under the SPEA/Business breezeway and the Campus Center. Social Justice Scholars maintain these boards and put up weekly questions to engage the IUPUI community in current issues. The mission of Democracy Plaza is to support the development of well-informed and engaged students through critical thinking and civil discourse on political, cultural, and societal issues through a social justice lens.

On October 23, 2019, the Student Sustainability Council at IUPUI, in partnership with the IUPUI Office of Sustainability, hosted a sustainability tour of campus. The campus featured our gardens, solar panels, electric grounds tools, solar powered umbrellas, beehives, and other sustainable features on campus.

The IUPUI Office of Sustainability website features a page on the Housing Sustainability Coordinators, which includes Sustainable Living Tips in the areas of Food, Energy, Purchasing, Transportation, Waste, and Water. The Sustainability Coordinators are responsible for sharing this information to all residents.

The Student Sustainability Council has been the student-led driving force for our campus' sustainability initiatives. The SSC publicizes sustainability news and events through their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and The Den, the campus student activity page.
