A brief description of the incentive program(s):
The following Grants and incentives offer incentives for faculty to develop curriculum in their field:
- The Greening IUPUI Grant
- Greening IUPUI grants are awarded one time per year to projects that advance campus sustainability. IUPUI dedicates a total of $25,000 annually to fund these projects. Eligible projects include:
- Planning & Administration (Strategic initiatives, diversity, affordability, innovation)
- Academic (Courses, research, other educational pursuits)
- Campus Engagement (student engagement programs, events)
- Public Engagement (volunteer opportunities, campus-community partnerships)
- Operations (Grounds, energy, waste, water, purchasing, transportation, buildings)

- Greening IUPUI grants are awarded one time per year to projects that advance campus sustainability. IUPUI dedicates a total of $25,000 annually to fund these projects. Eligible projects include:
- Center for Research and Learning Curriculum Development Grant
The Center for Research and Learning offers one to two grants annually for $2,500 to support the development of RISE courses with a specific focus on undergraduate research. The initiative aims to engage undergraduate students more deeply in their learning and to contribute to their intellectual, professional, and personal development. This grant is intended to increase course offerings and to expand the amount of 100-, 200-, and 300-level research courses. Faculty are encouraged to apply for up to $2,500, which might support professional development, summer salary, or a stipend. Faculty can develop a new research course or redesign an existing course as a research course. Research courses must incorporate qualified experiences, integration of knowledge, and structured reflection
- STEM Education Innovation & Research Institute Grants
- The SEIRI Seed Grants program is a competition that facilitates and supports improvements, innovation and research in STEM education at IUPUI within the School of Science, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Informatics, and IU School of Medicine, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of instruction and success of students, including low-income and underrepresented students.

- Up to $25,000 is available
- Faculty can apply to have funds deposited into their teaching/research account
- Center for Research and Learning Curriculum Development Grant
Faculty are encouraged to apply for up to $2,500, which might support professional development, summer salary, or a stipend.
- STEM Education Innovation & Research Institute Grants
- The projects are eligible for an award of up to $15,000 for individual or faculty team projects and up to $30,000 for departmental projects.
