Indiana University received the Alternative Fuel Leader – Electric award from the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition during its annual awards reception. Each year, Greater Indiana recognizes outstanding contributions to those who help advance their mission.

IU Bloomington Director of Sustainability serves on the Bloomington Sustainability Commission.

Members of the Office of Sustainability are engaged with the Indiana Chapter of USGBC.

IU Bloomington has assisted other in-state colleagues with their sustainability initiatives (such as Purdue University, Indiana State University, Butler University, Ball State University) in the role of peer mentor, free consultant, and/or providing speakers over the years. IUB regularly collaborates with other institutions in our local and regional networks.
