Hoosier Commuter Club

A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
In addition to financial incentives for carpooling, including Zipcar credits and free one-day parking passes, the Hoosier Commuter Club (facilitated by IU's Transportation Demand Manager and Transportation Working Group) offers targeted transportation education to members. Members are enrolled in a bimonthly newsletter that highlights members and gives tips and tricks, are invited to the Transportation Working Group and other TDM events including Healthy IU Fair, and are invited to a peer-led Bike to Work Day. Members are invited via their address on file, so that they can meet active commuters in their neighborhoods in a peer ride-along.

The SDG framework provides an essential perspective for inherently global issues and is part of a broader, international approach to learning that challenges and empowers students, and creates new skills, values, and attitudes. Across Indiana University's nine campuses, faculty, staff, students, and organizations are working to contribute to the research, understanding, and actions that collectively will achieve these goals.
