1) IUScholarWorks is an open-access repository provided by the IU Libraries for disseminating and preserving the intellectual output of Indiana University scholars. The repository is designed to host, preserve, and make discoverable a variety of research outputs (text, data, image, etc.) that will not change over time and that are adequately described with standard keywords that make them discoverable to others. IU students, faculty, and staff may use IUScholarWorks to make their research outputs freely available to the world, at a stable URL, and with the assurance that they will be maintained over the long term.

IU Bloomington scholars may submit their thesis or dissertation to IU Scholarworks, and IU scholars from any campus may submit individual research files, as well as thematic collections such as conference proceedings or workshop series presentations.

2) IUSW Open is a narrower-scope repository that supports the IU Bloomington open access policy by hosting and sharing IU Bloomington faculty-authored scholarly articles published after February 2017.
