Through the IU Green Teams, Sustainability staff led green-design walking tours and a "Lunch and Learn" orientation educating staff about hosting green events.
In 2017, Assistant Director of Sustainability spoke at an IU Events and Conferences (host) Events Summit, outlining how to plan a sustainable event, meeting, or conference.
In 2019, Sustain IU Director spoke on Working Sustainable on Campus at the IU CATS - Campus Administrative Training Service.

IU has an institutional membership to USGBC, Energy Cap, and Sightlines. All offer annual training, webinars, and certifications that are open to Capital Planning and Facilities Staff.
