A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to staff:
Human Resources hosts a yearly training session on sustainability which is open to all faculty and staff. The two hour session on sustainability at IUB and beyond is conducted by University Director of Sustainability, Bill Brown. Capital Planning and Facilities recently collaborated with the Office of Sustainability to create an eTraining module for faculty and staff about recyclables and procedures on the Bloomington campus. Hundreds of staff have taken the training since it was launched less than one year ago. Through the IU Green Teams, Sustainability staff led green-design walking tours and a "Lunch and Learn" orientation educating staff about hosting green events. Assistant Director of Sustainability spoke at an IU Events and Conferences (host) Events Summit, outlining how to plan a sustainable event, meeting, or conference.

Current offerings available at the link may or may not have a session on sustainability. The HR trainings site is updated several times per year.
