A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
In addition to the programs already offered through DEMA, the Residential Assistants Staff are required to take classes concerning working with diverse populations. Progress is also being made to create a course mandatory for incoming freshman to expose them to aspects of different cultures.
