A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
Commuters were determined by the amount of employee parking passes that were purchased. The amount of walkers, bicyclists, or non motorized means was determined by on-campus resident employees and the percentage of employees that did not purchase parking permits. No information was available for the amount of employees that vanpool or utilize public transportation.
