A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
The use of ethanol fuels for our on-campus automobile fleet has been listed as part of our Climate Action Plan. Along with, electric vehicles for those that have short travel distances. This energy would preferably be based on a solar or wind powered electrical production. Covered parking bays behind facilities management that have roof-mounted solar panel charging stations with electrical backups are part of our ideal future plans.
