The University is not advocating for any specific local ordinance nor have we been asked. The best form of advocacy to speak of is its actions on and around sustainability. We are an area leader in sustainability.

The University works toward the advancement of public policy that supports its educational mission. It also works toward securing the state funding necessary to operate and construct facilities. On occasion, ISU will collaborate with entities on public policy that will be in the best interest of our students. For example, we worked with the Indiana Association of Physician Assistants to secure support for improving the PA scope of practice in the state of Indiana.
