Has the institution conducted a comprehensive inventory of its research within the previous three years to identify the sustainability challenges or SDGs addressed by each project, publication, and/or researcher?:
Copy of the sustainability research inventory:
Description of the methodology used to complete the research inventory:
The process began by contacting individual department chairs and school directors for information on their faculty's sustainability research. The researchers identified by chairs/directors doing sustainability research were included in the researcher inventory. Additionally, faculty website profiles were reviewed for any additional faculty that were engaged in sustainability research. To identify those faculty, specific keywords were sought under the faculty research interests section of each website: "sustainability," "ESG," "corporate social responsibility (CSR)," "climate change," "green." We also utilized the Web of Science database and their SDG crosswalk. This process involved finding ISU-affiliated research and linking the micro citation topics of research within the database to the respective SDG identified in the crosswalk. After the SDG was assigned, each link was reviewed for relevance and accuracy and adjustments were made accordingly.
