Description of the institution’s programs designed to incentivize the use of public transportation:
In partnership with the Bloomington-Normal public transit system, Connect Transit, all Illinois State University student, faculty, and staff have universal access to fixed route buses and can ride any bus for free with their school ID. Additionally, there are fixed route "Redbird Express" buses that provide transportation around the ISU campus. The buses run on a fixed amd freqiemt route from 7am until 3am all week when school is in session.

Reggie Ride: Students and faculty and staff who are members of the Student Fitness Center can check bikes out for free.
ISU Bike Share Program: The ISU Bike Share Program provides any ISU student with the FREE temporary ownership of a limited number of refurbished bikes for one semester. Renters are responsible for keeping the bike in good working condition throughout the rental period.
