BONE STUDENT CENTER

The Bone Student Center at ISU- including meeting spaces, an auditorium, and a large ballroom are all available for rent to the public for meetings, events, conferences, weddings, etc. These are all very popular spaces and are widely used throughout the community, region, and state for various events. Access is not denied on grounds such as gender identity, racial or ethnic identity, indigeneity, genetic features, language, religion or belief, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age, or sexual orientation.

MULTICULTURAL CENTER

The Multicultural Center offers a variety of spaces to accommodate a wide range of events, including a conference room, a multipurpose room, a podcast room, and more. Nonprofit clients are given a 50% discount off the appropriate Public Room Rental rate.

HORTICULTURE CENTER

The Horticulture Center is open to the public for free 365 a week from dawn to dusk. An outdoor classroom serves as a meeting place for clubs and organizations within the surrounding community. It can also be rented for birthday parties, celebrations, and other events.

CAMPUS RECREATION STUDENT FITNESS CENTER

The Student Fitness Center offers conference rooms to both the campus and the general public for meetings or other events. Non-profit community groups receive a 40% discount from the general public rate.

REDBIRD ADVENTURE CENTER

The Redbird Adventure Center hosts meetings and team-building activities to both the campus and the general public. This includes meeting space, an outdoor patio, as well as high rope and low rope courses.

HORTICULTURE CENTER

The Illinois State University Horticulture Center is a collection of numerous gardens open to the public 365 days a year from dawn to dusk. An outdoor classroom serves as a meeting place for clubs and organizations within the surrounding community. The Horticulture Center is a living laboratory, a place to learn about plants, gardens, and their care through hands-on practice and research.

ISU CHILD CARE CENTER

The ISU Child Care Center (CCC) provides childcare and early education for toddlers and preschoolers with admission priority for the Illinois State University community. The CCC serves as a model program for all ISU student body, the community, and the Early Childhood profession. The center operates as a lab site for practicum students and volunteers in the ISU Family Consumer Sciences Department, as well as other campus departments. The center may be used as a research site by qualifying individuals, groups, or agencies.

FIX IT FRIDAY REPAIR SHOP

The Fix It Friday Repair Shop is open to both campus and the community every Friday and offers free mending and clothing repair to all.

MILNER LIBRARY

Milner Library is Illinois State University's central library facility. While its primary mission is to serve the institution's informational needs, the general public may use Milner Library's resources on a walk-in basis and free of charge. Members of the general public may borrow materials by applying for a free Milner Library Courtesy Card.

UNIVERSITY GALLERIES

University Galleries is open year-round: daily throughout the academic year and Monday-Saturday during the summer. All exhibitions and events are free and open to the general public. University Galleries produces exhibitions and interpretive programming that reflect the shifting dynamics of contemporary artistic practice. Consistent with university heritage, the Gallery cultivates a laboratory of expression that embraces various approaches to creating and experiencing art. University Galleries bring socially engaged art, performance, and experimental processes to the region, while furthering the careers of artists through residencies, exhibitions, publications, and funding for new projects. University Galleries’ exhibitions feature both emerging and more established artists, particularly those whose work has not been previously showcased in a museum context

ISU CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS 

The Illinois State University Center for the Performing Arts Box Office (CPA) is the home for all Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts ticketed events in the CPA Concert Hall, CPA Theatre, Westhoff Theatre, and Ewing Cultural Center. These events represent the School of Music, School of Theatre, Dance, and Film, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and rental events including the Illinois Symphony Orchestra,

EWING CULTIRAL CENTER

Ewing Cultural Center, located on the Sunset Hill estate of the late Hazle Buck Ewing, sits majestically on 6.5 acres of wooded landscape in Bloomington, Illinois. Owned by Illinois State University, this beautiful estate, rich in local history, is preserved and elegantly maintained due to the generosity of donors who discovered a way to celebrate the area's culture, landscape, and nature. Ewing Manor, the Theatre at Ewing, and the Genevieve Green Gardens are all part of the Ewing Cultural Center. The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is a professional repertory company that produces mainstage productions, free family-friendly performances, and numerous community events over the summer at the ISU Ewing Cultural Center. The Illinois Shakespeare Festival reaches over 10,000 patrons each season. In addition to the Festival's regular mainstage programming, Theatre for Young Audiences shows are performed free of charge on the grounds of Ewing Cultural Center, and the touring Bard in a Box troupe brings Shakespearean adaptations to schools and community centers in the area.

ISU PLANETARIUM

The ISU Planetarium is open to the general public and offers a variety of live and taped performances  including Public planetarium presentations, School and community group presentations, In-service teacher workshops, and Adult education classes

Part of the mission of the ISU Planetarium is to contribute to "contribute to good University-Community relations."

BOWLING AND BILLIARDS CENTER

Bowling and Billiards Center features 10 bowling lanes, 17 billiard tables, an Esports gaming center, and an Activity Room. Reservations in these spaces can be made by registered student organizations, university departments, and public groups. Non-profit community groups receive a 40% discount from the general public rate.

GREGORY STREET FIELDS

The Gregory Street Fields are home to many of ISU's outdoor intramural sport activities. It includes six softball or flag football fields, three soccer fields, and one multipurpose field.

WEIBRING GOLF CLUB

The Weibring Golf Club is a public, 6,915-yard, Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary certified, par 71 golf course that accommodates approximately 28,000 rounds per year and hosts more than 100 tournaments and public outings. These events include Men’s and Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics, State Champion Boys and Girls University High School home tournaments, the State Farm Youth Classic, the Illinois High School Association Boy’s State Final, and many fundraisers for local charities and scholarship groups.
