A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:
Illinois State hosts a Peace Corps prep program through the Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development. Also offered through the Stevenson Center are Americorps placements and professional practice placements requiring a year of service.
Week-long immersive experiences are provided through Alternative Spring Break and Alternative Winter Break programs.
