Illinois State University has fifteen collective bargaining units covering approximately 1100 employees. The Labor & Employee Relations Section of Human Resources is responsible for managing all aspects of these bargaining units.
Non-represented employees are evaluated for parity on a regular basis. Significant benefits are afforded to all employees of the university providing for robust health, dental, optical and mental health insurance as well as tuition waivers, adoption services, and paid time off for numerous personal and civic obligations.
