Diversity is a core value at ISU and is included in our guiding plan, Educating Illinois. ISU measures the diversity of the population of students, academic achievements, affordability, community diversity, graduation and retention rates. Assessments are conducted annually for Educating Illinois and contribute to the development of programming, support, and training. The results of the assessments have resulted in increased awareness and programming for trans-gender students, faculty and staff, and enabled ISU to host one the largest MBLGTACC conferences in the nation.
