A brief description of how the institution engages in public policy advocacy for sustainability, including the issues, bills, and ordinances for or against which the institution has advocated:
1) ISU advocated and assisted in the implementation of the Normal Community-Wide Sustainability Plan for 2035.
2) ISU is an active supporter of the Federal Sustainability in Higher Education Act.
3) ISU is an active supporter and advocate of the Main Street Corridor Form Based Code. The university is fully engaged in the implementation of this code.
