Illinois State University has a policy on faculty and staff and it allows for employees to 90minutes per allotted to a fitness program that is provided by the university, Some examples of these programs include: pilates, badminton, zumba, and yoga. There are many more programs that are offered by the university and they can be found on the campus recreation website.

Here is the actual policy regarding faculty/staff wellness at Illinois State University: In support of the University's commitment to the health, wellness, and vitality of its faculty and staff, full-time, hourly employees may, with the approval of their supervisors, be permitted release time not to exceed one and one-half hours per week (90 minutes), to participate in activities, programs, or events sponsored by Health Promotion and Wellness
