A brief description of the program:
Just one year ago several departments collaborated to put on a move-out waste reduction program that would not only reduce the amount of waste going to the landfills, but also donate usable items to community organizations. Through the combined efforts of the Association of Residence Halls, University Housing Services, Grounds, and the Office Of Sustainability; dozens of furniture items were donated to organizations that assist families who cannot afford furniture.
