A brief description of the event(s):
Speakers from Galapagos Islands, student events such as "(human) Nature; An Interdisciplinary Conference on Ecotheory & Justice), are held throughout the academic year.
There is an annual Healthy You Healthy Earth Wellness Fair which highlights healthy lifestyles and choices that individuals can make, and how those decisions impact themselves and the environment. During second semester, University Housing Services in conjunction with the Office of Sustainability puts on an educational program for earth hour and rewards the floor with the least amounts of lights turn on in all of the residence halls.
