All students, staff, and faculty have access to the Keating Sports Center for lockers and showers, and there are bike racks outside of all campus buildings.

Basement of McCormick Student Village has indoor long term bike storage. All buildings have bike racks outside.

The Mies Campus hosts two Divvy Bike stations, the most popular bike sharing program in Chicago.

All full time IIT students have a free transit pass (called a UPass) for Chicago Transit Authority buses and trains while classes are in session. IIT also offers a free campus shuttle to get between the Mies Campus and downtown Chicago.
