A majority of community service at IIT is through the Greek system, and 6 of the 10 fraternities and sororities reported their community service hours, with 4890 hours performed during the 2017-2018 school year. The number of individuals who participated was not reported. Student Life also reported that 325 hours of service were performed by 132 students during the fall semester of 2017.
