The Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research (WISER) is a interdisciplinary research institute within IIT with the mission to support research in sustainability. It's initiatives encourage both students and faculty to do research in sustainability topics, including providing graduate scholarships to students focusing in sustainability.
