A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed:

All of the university’s purchasing is done through ABM, our designated purchasing contractor. IIT strives to purchase a high percentage of our products as Green Seal or equivalently certified products while still meeting the campus needs.

Yes

Expenditures on Green Seal and/or EcoLogo certified cleaning products :

Total expenditures on cleaning products :
47145.90 US/Canadian $

The website URL above is for the general IIT website. We do not at this time have a website outlining our directive, as it is part of an private institution contract. However, the university is working to make many of our policies publicly available on various parts of our site, and we hope to have it available soon.
