All of the university’s purchasing is done through ABM, our designated purchasing contractor. Our contract has a directive stating that contractors must submit a list of chemicals to IIT for approval before purchase, primarily from North American and HP Products. IIT strives to purchase a high percentage of our products as Green Seal or equivalently certified products while still meeting the campus needs.

The website URL above is for the general IIT website. We do not at this time have a website outlining our directive, as it is part of an private institution contract. However, the university is working to make many of our policies publicly available on various parts of our site, and we hope to have it available soon.
