Does the institution have a student-run enterprise, such as a cafe, through which students gain sustainable business skills?:
Yes

A brief description of the enterprise:

In the Winter of 2011, the Office of Campus Energy and Sustainability announced the launch of the Student Sustainability Enterprise. Students will run this new campus business, receiving annual goals related to the Campus Sustainability Plan from a Board of Overseers that includes the Office of Campus Energy and Sustainability, the Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research, and the Knapp Entrepreneurship Center. Each year, the General Manager will hire staff and organize the business to meet the goals for that year, and will report regularly to its Board and the campus on the progress toward those goals. The Student Sustainability Enterprise will focus on engagement, change management, and small-scale project management in meeting its goals. Through the Office of Campus Energy and Sustainability, any complex solutions will move up to IIT Business and Operations for large-scale implementation, allowing the Enterprise to remain flexible and responsive.
