A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:

Wellness Works is a point-based wellness program designed to encourage ALL Illinois Central College employees (full and part-time) and retirees to participate in wellness activities throughout the year.

Wellness Works is a comprehensive program coordinated through Health Services. Participants receive points for:

•Exercising
•Attending Wellness Works sponsored seminars
•Participating in Wellness Works sponsored health screenings and programs. (Miscellaneous activities posted on log of activities)
•Annual physical, dental and vision exams and other recommended health screenings
By participating in these wellness activities, programs and screenings and submitting proper documentation in the scheduled timeframe, an employee/retiree will be awarded points. The “wellness points” earned throughout the year add up to a cash reward!
