Illinois Central College
Tier2-1: Timers for Temperature Control
Director, Facility Planning and Design
Does the institution use timers to regulate temperatures based on occupancy hours in at least one building?:
A brief description of the technology used:
ICC utilizes two Building Automation Systems (BAS) Johnson Control and Trane. The East Peoria, Downtown and North campuses all are controlled with BAS. The BAS allows the college to implement setback temperatures for all off hours. These systems are software based computer controlled systems that provide schedules for setbacks during evenings, holidays, and weekends.
