STUDENTS- IESE MBA WELLBEING INITIATIVE:
IESE is, and always has been, driven by the desire to develop leaders who strive to have a deep, positive and lasting impact on people, companies and society through professional excellence, integrity and a spirit of service. This mission defines our approach to education, not just in the classroom, but also throughout the entire MBA journey.
With a focus on wellbeing from an holistic perspective, this initiative aims to engage and support our MBA students during these two special years, providing and organizing different conferences and sessions - delivered from experts coming from multidisciplinary backgrounds - to address different aspects that contribute to the overall wellness of our students, including topics related to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
2021-2022 Sessions:
Peak Performance during the MBA: Physical and Mental Resilience
Speaker: Prof. Alberto Ribera, IESE Business School

Mindfulness: framework and practical techniques.

Resilience and High Performers Team
Speaker: Mariano Costa, High Performance Executive Coaching, International Olympic Committee
April 20th, 2022
Other initiatives/ activities carried out in the academic year 2021-2022:
- Yoga classes
- Kickboxing
- A safe space event
- Discounted Headspace App membership (wellbeing app)
- Co-led a wellbeing session with the DACH club with the chief happiness officer from SAP.
IESE students have the possibility of practice different sports in other universities (UPC, UB)
ACADEMIC AND NON-ACADEMIC STAFF
We have wellness proposals in our Learning & Development Plan (Well-being sessions), a part of our Intranet is dedicated to Health and Safety and a part of the Fringe Benefits offered for the employees are related to health and wellnes (Medical insurance, Medical Check Ups, On Campus Medical Service, Accident Insurance, Travel Insurance and Subsidies for Treatment at the University of Navarra Clinic). We are also certified as a Familiary Responsible Company by https://www.masfamilia.org/ (https://www.iese.edu/jobs/).
