One of the IESE's professional groups are the Reseach Assistants: graduate students who collaborate with our Faculty supporting them on special research projects focusing on quantitative data and conduct academic analysis. They are contracted for two years and earn 19.800€ per year. However, taking into account other benefits (accident insurance; food bonus) the salary is 21.264,00 €.
As the Local Living Wage is 20.024,00 €:
21.264,00 € / 20.024,00 € = 106%

There is a Collective Agreement (a written agreement between an employer and a union that regulates the working conditions of the Spanish universities employees and staff) who stablish the minimum salary that has to be paid to each category. And one of the IESE's policies is to pay higher salaries than the stablished in the Collective Agreement, even if they are Staff or Faculty.
