Campaign "HOP ON THE TRAIN

* Objective: To reduce emissions generated by commuting between the Barcelona and Madrid campuses.
* Scope: Faculty and staff of the Barcelona and Madrid campuses.
* Definition: During the 2021-22 academic year, the "HOP ON THE TRAIN" campaign was launched to promote travel exclusively by train on the route between the Barcelona and Madrid campuses, which is IESE's main route.
The campaign was launched and disseminated through "IESE NOW" (IESE's official internal communication channel).
The Operations Area awarded a corporate "travel kit" to the three employees who generated the least emissions by choosing to travel by train.

TAXIMAD ACTION (connection to public transport)

Many MiM students are regular users of public transportation. Due to IESE's geographical location in Madrid, it is currently difficult to get to the center of Madrid from IESE by public transport. To facilitate this connection with public transportation and thus avoid the use of private cars, we are actively working with the city council to improve the connectivity of public transportation in this area.
In the meantime, the MiM program management has contracted a service with the TaxiMad hybrid car fleet so that students can connect to public transportation in Madrid at the end of their day at IESE. Students register on a platform that allows them to fill the cars (4 students in each car) and thus avoid emissions.
