A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
With our onboarding process, we help new employees to be successful in their role in the shortest possible time. As part of the onboarding, new employees get to know our campus, the scope of their role and the colleagues they will be working with on a regular basis. They also learn about our values, our procedures, our ways of working and IESE systems.
In this onboarding, new employees can discovered/found:
- SOCIAL IMPACT INITIATIVES: We encourage employees to take part in the various charity activities organized during the year, aligned with our mission to have a positive impact on society. They provide an excellent opportunity to help others, both through local social entities and through projects developed in Africa. Some examples are: "IESE CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN"; "CLOTHING COLLECTION CAMPAIGN"; "BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN", among others.
- The GENDER EQUALITY PLAN.
- The LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT PLAN: Which includes sustainability courses from the "COURSERA" platform.
In this section the document "EN-8: Employee Orientation" is attached with some screenshots of how the onboarding platform and its content looks like.
All new employees are given information about the sustainability campaigns and actions carried out by IESE ("no more plastics" and they are also given a reusable water bottle, save and go app, etc.); They are given the link to the IESE page where the objectives and actions carried out in sustainability are explained.
