ISU has started a Green Workspace Certification program to encourage faculty and staff to incorporate more sustainable practices into their daily operations. The certificate recgonizes participating departments or offices for their efforts and promotes a common workplace environment to all work together towards a green campus. This program is unique as it targets the engagement of faculty and staff as the leaders to the student body. ISU feels it is important their actions are noted and celebrated as well, so the students can feel they are supported and not alone in making changes.
