Cal Poly Humboldt’s 100% Recycled Paper Policy requires campus departments to use 100% post-consumer waste, process chlorine free office paper for letter size general use white paper for copiers and printers. Due to supply chain issues the campus has been forced to substitute different levels of recycled-content paper, expenditure figures represented above. Overall paper consumption is much lower for the most recent reportable period due to overall reduced reliance on paper for all campus departments which, due to covid inspired changes to business procedures, have featured primarily electronically based documents.
