In 2022-23 Cal Poly Humboldt became a member of the Post-Landfill Action Network (PLAN), and embarked on the Atlas Zero Waste Strategy program. In the fall of 2022 the University completed Stage 1 of Atlas - a campus wide waste assessment culminating in a zero waste score and certification level. In the spring of 2023 the University will complete Stage 2 - establishing a campus wide strategic vision, and in the fall of 2023 the University will embark on Stage 3 - creating a zero waste action plan.
