Flexfuel, which is mandated by the state for gas powered vehicles, in not available in Humboldt County and as such we are unable to benefit from this increased biofuel mixture.
That said, gasoline in the state of CA usually has a small percentage of biofuel comprising the total mixture. The percentage of biofuel mixed in is not consistently known but worth noting. This means that while most gas fueled vehicles in Humboldt do not meet "Flexfuel" standards, they do generally contain a small percentage (usually less than 10%) of biofuel mixed in.
