The remaining 1,337.26 acres are mostly comprised of two large parcels, not managed as a landscape: The Schatz Tree Farm (400 acres) is a demonstration forest; The Jacoby Creek Forest addition (884 acres) is a combination research, experiential learning and sustainable harvest tract. The remaining parcels of campus either do not contain landscape (Third Street Gallery and Natural History Museum) or are small, unimproved parcels, without managed landscape areas.
