Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
In the spring of 2019 Humboldt State applied for and received a Bicycle Friendly Business bronze designation from the League of American Bicyclists. The Bicycle Friendly Business Bronze seal is included in the 'Points of Pride' section of HSU's sustainability website, https://facilitymgmt.humboldt.edu/sustainability. With this designation, HSU joined other universities and colleges in California (e.g., CSU Long Beach, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, Woodland Community College) as a Bicycle Friendly Business. HSU completed this designation as a stepping stone towards eventually achieving the Bicycle Friendly University designation and for deepening the campus-community partnership on increasing active transportation (the City of Arcata is a designated Bicycle Friendly Community).
