Does the institution have a formally established and active committee on investor responsibility (CIR) or equivalent body?:

The charter or mission statement of the CIR or other body which reflects social and environmental concerns or a brief description of how the CIR is tasked to address social and environmental concerns:

The Board of Governors, and specifically the Audit and Finance Committee of Humber’s Board of Governor’s is charged with governance of the College’s investments including:
- Establish an Investment Guideline for the College’s investments.
- Appointing an Investment Manager (external firm) and reviewing their performance and compliance with Investment Guidelines.

Humber's Board of Governors has staff, faculty and student representation; however the Audit and Finance Committee (CIR) does not necessarily include representation from each staff, faculty and students.

Humber's Investment Guidelines requires all investments comply to ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) principles and request our investment managers demonstrate and provide Humber's Board of Governor's with updates on ESG performance at least semi-annually.

Does the CIR include academic staff representation?:

Does the CIR include non-academic staff representation?:

Does the CIR include student representation?:

Members of the CIR, including affiliations and role:

The larger Board of Governors plays an active role by approving all decisions by the Audit and Finance Committee. The Audit and Finance Committee is ultimately accountable to the Board of Governors.

Please see attached list for Board of Governors as well as Audit and Finance committee membership as of September 2022.
