A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
From October 2019 to March 2020, an “Introduction to Sustainability” in-person workshop was delivered to all new employees as part of an orientation welcome package. A 10-minute presentation was provided by a member of the Office of Sustainability to highlight what Humber is doing to be more sustainable on Campus, our programs and initiatives, and how new employees can get involved. Due to COVID, this workshop was inactive between 2020-2021 but is currently active in 2022 as the Office of Sustainability worked with Humber’s Human Resources department to integrate this workshop both in-person and online.
