Creation Care Committee
• Organize programming to raise awareness for sustainability and creation care issues
• Coordinate with faculty to include sustainability and creation care into existing curriculum
• Coordinate initiatives to reduce energy consumption
• Lead college efforts to explore renewable energy ideas and options
• Work with Food Service to increase Houghton’s offering of Fair Trade, organic, and locally grown foods
• Make recommendations for management decisions about college property use.
• Serve as a resource and advisory group for the Sustainability Coordinator
• Make recommendations regarding campus enhancement, beautification, and the prioritization of aesthetic improvements and decisions.
