A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
Single-use plastic bags have been eliminated from all campus retail outlets. Beginning March 1, 2020 New York State has banned single-use plastic bags in all retail outlets. Houghton has complied with this ban and no longer offers single-use plastic bags for our retail outlets. Customers must bring their own bags.
