During the last five years Hope College has only constructed one new building following green certifications. Constuction was completed in 2019 for the Campus Ministries van Andel Huis der Hope which was 10,474-square-feet and LEED Certified.
Other new construction and remodel projects implemented construction waste management, low VOC materials and green cleaning processes.
Historic green construction certification projects include:
Jim and Martie Bultman Student Center = 54,230 square-feet
LEED Gold. Construction Completed 2017.
Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts = 67,200 square feet; LEED Silver.
Construction completed 2015.
